Hello, readers! How was everyone's Valentine's Day? I've got some more interesting stuff for you to read-- but, of course, what else would I be doing? :)
This week is about some more poetry, but I found this one quite interesting. Love, Ghosts, & Facial Hair is a novel told in a series of poems written by the characters themselves. Although the reading goes quickly in this style, the poems are cute and heartfelt, and give you great insight into the characters, more so than if you were just reading prose describing them.

Said characters are Jack, your average sixteen-year-old boy, Desiree, his older sister, and Annabel, Jack's crush. Jack's family still suffers from the death of his mother seven years ago. What they don't know is that he sees his mother's ghost walking about the house at night...
This was a very interesting albeit short book, and I can't wait to read author Steven Herrick's companion novel, A Place Like This. Too bad they don't have it at my local library!
Happy reading, folks!
